Although this is Tayus' third release, it captures the very first time that Mike and Ali have performed together on stage under that name. The process of making Tayus tracks involves Ali making audio stems using his modular synth rig, sending them to Mike and then Mike augments these stems and completes production on the track to its finished state. For this performance Ali has augmented those finished tracks for live performance using a variety of synth textures and sounds. We're loving this process of taking what each other has done and moving it on down the road.

We're looking forward to further performances - we really enjoyed performing here. We would like to thank Sound Effects Of Death And Horror for inviting us to play and thanks to him and Faex Optim for joining us and making an excellent night of sound and visuals.

The first time I heard this album I was going through the wringer health-wise and exploring lots of new music to help pass the time. While listening I felt both clear-headed and zeroed in but also, somewhat inversely, like I was suspended within some vast, black ethereal plane of existence. MFNT has since become a bit of a personal cult classic. It's a bracing, jarring, fascinating, fever-dream listening experience, and I highly recommend it. FE
